Activity 1:

I would rather continue learning in New Zealand as we focus on less subjects than Germans. Also there break times are much shorter than ours. They only get 10 and 20 minute breaks. But at P.E.S we get 30 minutes and an hour.

Activity 2:

My favorite subject in school is maths! I love it because it is easy to work out strategies, equations and I'm good with numbers.

Activity 1: My family

In my family there is my two grandparents.

Nana Mali (62) and Papa Steven (63).

My mum Wylma (36).

Next is my 3 aunties and 3 uncles.

Aunties - Sandy (43), Stephanie (41) and Anne-Marie (35)

Uncles - Christian (39), Jon (31)  and Hayden (29)
I also have many cousins who I visit here and there.

I'm an only child so I'm lucky that I get everything.

Activity 2: Duggar Child

I think if I was one of the Duggar children I would feel sad and maybe insecure. I might feel this because I probably don't get much attention than the other children.

But if I had to live with 18 siblings, I would love having lots of brothers and sisters to play and talk with. What I wouldn't like would be:

1. The limited space
2. Not enough attention
3. Miss out on opportunities
4. Arguments occur
5. Not enough money to provide food and drinks

Activity 1: COMPARING FOODS

1. What do you eat for breakfast? Banana Smoothie and Nutri Grain

2. What people in your chosen country eat for breakfast? Full English Fry Up
3. Which of the two breakfast options (your breakfast or the breakfast in the other country) you prefer. Why do you prefer it? I would prefer to eat breakfast in England as their food has more ingredients than what I usually have. Also I love to eat bacon, fried bread, sausages, mushrooms, potatoes and eggs (some ingredients from England’s Fry Up).

Bonus Activity:
In my opinion I think that breakfast is the most important  meal of the day because you’ve been sleeping for 8+ hours and the food you had for dinner has digested. You wake up feeling thirsty and hungry. So having breakfast will put you in a better mood and give you energy throughout your day.

Lost In The Forest

“Hey boys! Wanna go explore the forbidden forest to celebrate my Birthday?”, says Jacob. Ben replies, “What ifwe get lost?” “Don’t be silly! We won’t go that far!” Jacob responds. So Jacob, Ben and Anthony head towards the Gates Of Exploration.

“We’re finally here. Since it’s your birthday Jacob which path should we take?” Says Anthony. “Let’s follow the left path.” As Jacob points his hand in that direction. While they walk the brothers sing happy birthday, tell jokes and push each other around. All is fun and merry until something dreadful happens.

They accidently slip down a long slope and are lost in a forest. Ben then yells at Jacob, “I told you we were gonna get lost! We’re never gonna find our way back home now!” Jacob felt like an idiot and was sad as well. “ROAR!” “What was that?” The boys say simultaneously. “ROAR!” Another one. “THUD! THUD! THUD!” “Uhhh… Guys look over there” Anthony says shivering. “AHHHHH! RUN!” They all scream. A grizzly bear has started chasing the boys.

After a long run deeper into the forest they have lost the bear. “Now we’re probably deeper and farther away from finding our way back home!” Jacob sadly sobs. Ben insists that they stay put so they’ll be easier to find. Jacob refuses to stay as he wants to get back home to eat his cake. Then he starts crying, then Ben and Anthony start crying as well.

Out of nowhere a leprechaun appears. “Psssst!” He whispers to the group of boys. “Who are you?” The boys asks. “I’m a leprechaun who grants wishes to people who are in trouble. Since it’s your birthday today Jacob what do you wish for?” Jacob doesn’t think twice about what he wants and answers, “I wish that my brothers and I will get back home so we can celebrate my birthday” The leprechaun replies, “Well a wish is a wish… follow the bright footpath and it will guide you out of the forest.” “Thank you!” the boys shout out.  

When they return home they are glad to see their family.  Jacob and his brothers make a pact never to return to the forbidden forest again.

Me Having A Slip And Slide:

Here is a collage of my cousins and I having a slip and slide outside the front of my house. We are also having a water fight which involves water guns, balloons, buckets and lots of water. This collage was put together by my aunty using an app called collage maker.

Holiday Highlights Week 2

On the second week of the school holidays I went to see some more Christmas lights with my cousin, mum and nana at motat and Franklin Road on Friday. There were all these houses that were covered in bright colourful lights. It was just beautiful driving through the street.

   

On Christmas day we had an amazing brunch with my uncle Jon, my mum, nana and grandpa. We had smoked salmon, roast lamb, pork, glazed ham, salad, prawns, gravy, raw fish and other delicious foods. this was actually our second celebration for christmas as we had an earlier one at my uncle Jon’s house a few weeks ago.    

The day after Christmas I went to Niue and I was excited because, I couldn’t wait to see my cousins! When we arrived in the boiling hot Island of Niue, it was dusk. My adventure had just begun. During my visit in Niue I slept over at my aunt's in Hakupu, swam at Avatele Beach (Avatele pronounced as Avasele) and also had a dip at the pool at Matavai Resort. We also celebrated a few birthdays including my cousin Elijah’s second birthday.
