SLJ 2017 W2:D7

Activity 1: COMPARING FOODS
  1. What do you eat for breakfast? Banana Smoothie and Nutri Grain

  1. What people in your chosen country eat for breakfast? Full English Fry Up
  2. Which of the two breakfast options (your breakfast or the breakfast in the other country) you prefer. Why do you prefer it? I would prefer to eat breakfast in England as their food has more ingredients than what I usually have. Also I love to eat bacon, fried bread, sausages, mushrooms, potatoes and eggs (some ingredients from England’s Fry Up).
Activity 2:

Here is an image of myself eating New Zealand's national fruit, named kiwifruit.

Bonus Activity:
In my opinion I think that breakfast is the most important  meal of the day because you’ve been sleeping for 8+ hours and the food you had for dinner has digested. You wake up feeling thirsty and hungry. So having breakfast will put you in a better mood and give you energy throughout your day.

  1. Hey Stevenson!

It's great to see you blogging so regularly and posting awesome pictures. I particularly love the shot that you took of yourself with our national fruit. I had never tried kiwifruit before moving to New Zealand but it's quickly become one of all my all-time favourite fruits. I often put it into smoothies. Do you ever add kiwifruit to your banana smoothie? Aronui is obsessed with smoothies at the moment! He asks to have one every day for breakfast (with his weet-bix). You two have very similar taste...

Recently, I've been making him peach-banana-kiwifruit smoothies. Yum! I can highly recommend them :)

Keep up the great work, Stevenson!

    Cheers,
    Rachel

    1. Hey Rachel!

I have never tried adding kiwifruit to my smoothies but it sounds delicious. Just like Aronui, I'm obsessed with smoothies I have at least 2 every morning.

I usually make Banana, Mango smoothies and sometimes add 3 weet-bixs.

    2. Hmmmm, after reading your post I am now thinking about adding Weet-bix to Aronui's smoothies. I've typically added banana or oats to thicken it but weet-bix sounds like a pretty cool idea...

Thanks for the suggestion. I am going to give it a try with Aronui tomorrow morning :)

      Cheers,
      Rachel

  2. Kia ora Steven!

This is again, another excellent job. I can tell you really put a lot of effort in and again, you should be really proud of yourself. Just top, top work. I once knew a guy like you and he ended up becoming a doctor. He is such a hard worker.

Those are excellent reasons to have a nice, balanced breakfast in the morning. I personally have breakfast so I can concentrate on teaching instead of wondering when lunchtime is.

Keep up the great work and that awesome positive attitude I can see shining through that photo!

    1. Thanks for another comment Mark!

That's actually one of my dream jobs. I would like to become a doctor, architect or nurse.

You have the same reasons why I eat breakfast aswell, only I concentrate on learning instead of teaching.
