Review Of My Favourite Video
Nikki’s Music Video:
What was good about the video?
It had a catchy tune and it was kind of a Jennifer Lopez music video style.

What didn’t you like?
Nothing really just that I didn’t understand the words. But it’s like Gangnam Style a catchy song in a different language.

Was it different to what you’ve seen in New Zealand?
It’s kind of similar just the language is different.

Bonus Activity:
Find a brand new Youtube clip for a movie or a famous musician from New Zealand. Paste a link to the movie onto your blog post. Beside the link tell us the name of the movie or musician and why you chose to upload this link. What is it about the movie or musician that you like?
Wow, Stevenson! You are doing so well with the activities. You've managed to do all 3 activities for Day 11. I'm really impressed!!
ReplyDeleteI am also so pleased to see that you explored the links that I posted for the Malaysian musicians. It is quite interesting to watch performers from other countries, isn't it? There are often similarities (as you have noted) between the musician's style. I completely agree that Nikki's performance has elements of it that are similar to Jennifer Lopez. Are you a fan of Jennifer Lopez? I became a fan of hers when I was living in Japan and looking for music to listen to. Most of the CDs on sale in the local store where in Japanese but they had a small English language section so I bought a JLo CD and a Mary J Blige CD. Every time that I hear these two artists I immediately think of living in Nagano. I find that music has this amazing way of transporting you to a different place or time.
I hope that you have artists that you really enjoy listening to and that remind you of special people or places in your life.
I'm going to sign off now and go and check out the clip that you posted for Sione's Wedding 2. I'm curious to see what it's all about!
Cheers,
Rachel
