Hari Merdeka or Independence Day.

What would you would eat?
On Hari Merdeka I would eat very traditional Malaysian Foods such as Nasi Lemak (rice and vegetables).
What would you would see?
I would see the military men and women and lots of other people dressed up. I would probably see Mr. Najib Rezak and his family.
What would you do to celebrate the day?
Dress up in my suit and tie. Participate in the parades, events and maybe go to the concerts.

Waitangi Day
For the past 3 years I have been visiting Waitangi where the Treaty was signed, with my family. After visiting the grounds I usually relax or have a family lunch. I like Waitangi day as I get a long weekend away from school.

!~Gaming Day~!

During my public holiday everybody will get a day off for gaming. There will be Black Ops 2, Minecraft, Tekken and other games held at different locations. This would give kids and adults the opportunity to try different games.  There would also be tournaments around the country for experts to play against each other.

Malaysian Prime Minister – Mr. Dato' Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak
C:\Users\rwil313\Desktop\Najib Razak.jpgThe current prime minister of Malaysia is Mr. Najib Razak. He is the 6th prime minister of the country. He became the prime minister in April 2009. He is married tohis wife, Rosmah, and together they have five children.

Rules/Laws I Would Make If I Were The Prime Minister
  1. Rich people have to donate 30% of their earnings to the government which would go to charities.
  2. No homeless people on the street…  build small cottages for them to live in.
  3. If there are smart kids who come from a poor family they will get free education from any school of their choice.
  4. Unlimited internet for Year 5s - Year 13s gadgets and devices.
Barack Obama Interesting Facts

  1. He collects Spider-Man and Conan the Barbarian comics
  2. He was known as "O'Bomber" at high school for his basketball skills.
  3. His name means "one who is blessed" in Swahili
  4. Somethings are common to my life. For example he lived with his grandparents which I’m doing now. He looked like me when I was a baby. Also he’s helped the poor which is what I would like to do if I was Prime Minister or President.

I wouldn’t want to be the Prime Minister as my daily job as I would have to much responsibilities and work to do everyday. But I would like to experience a day in the life of a Prime Minister because I think it would be a great learning opportunity and I actually might like it.
I would like to be a Politician and help people in my community like Simon O’connor who looks after the Tamaki area.

Review Of My Favourite Video
Nikki’s Music Video:
What was good about the video?
It had a catchy tune and it was kind of a Jennifer Lopez music video style.
What did you like?
The dance moves
What didn’t you like?
Nothing really just that I didn’t understand the words. But it’s like Gangnam Style a catchy song in a different language.
Was it different to what you’ve seen in New Zealand?
It’s kind of similar just the language is different.

Famous New Zealand Sport: Tag Football
TAG.jpg
In this image is myself trying to run away from the defender on the opposing team. The sport I’m playing is tag football. I enjoy this sport as it is a non contact sport which keeps me fit and healthy. This photo was taken 2 years ago.
Sporting Heroes: Shaun Johnson (Left) and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck

My sporting heroes are Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Shaun Johnson.  They are both international Rugby League players. Roger has been transferred from the Sydney Roosters to the NZ Warriors Club.  He has taken over homesick, fullback, Sam Tomkins. Shaun Johnson has been with the Warriors since his professional career signing. I love the two league stars as their very good at this sport and show great skills and athleticism.

Are they similar or are they different?

The foods they eat in Malaysia are waaaaay, way different.

What do you think of the foods?
Fried Noodles sounds and looks okay. But Nasi Lemak #1 and #2 doesn’t look pleasing to me.

Fried Noodles Nasi Lemak #1 Nasi Lemak #2

Activity 1 Post: (4 Points)

4 Things You Need To Do To Stay Safe On An Airplane:

  • Loose items you take on board must be secured and safely stored. Up in the locker overhead or under the seat instead.
  • If a mask drops down pull it down and then you put it on. Pull the two side straps and breath normally. Before you help your mates.
  • If the seatbelt sign shines buckle up. You know it fits when it clicks.
  • Emergencies take off for landing prepare yourself by bracing against the seat before you.
