Overloaded with butterflies
Once in a life time opportunity
Lifted with joy
Young and free
Motivated by the competitors energy
Patiently waiting for the 18 hour trip to Rio to end
Impressed by the many cultures and countries competing
Coerced by the sweet scent of the Brigadiero

What a cool poem! I am a huge fan of acrostic poetry and I think that you have captured the emotions and experience of traveling to Rio really accurately. It is definitely a 'once in a lifetime opportunity' that would be a huge highlight for any of us!
ReplyDeleteI certainly wish that I was able to travel to Rio this year to attend the games, however, it is simply too far and too expensive to go. There are also concerns about the safety of spectators in Rio this year and issues with the Zika virus and general pollution levels. Have you heard anything about these issues?
I think that it's safe to say that it's going to be a very interesting games this year...

It would most definitely be a huge highlight for any of us! I haven't been keeping track of who's going to be in it, but I agree that it will be interesting nonetheless.
