Jackets Open To Year 6’s At PES!

Year 6 students from Pt. England upgrading to jackets as they move into Intermediate.

Every senior wants a jacket but you have to be able to afford it. The jackets are 1 dollar cheaper than the culottes which are $56. Seniors have another choice which is a black hat which costs $10

Some time ago when Pt. England was turning into an intermediate school our uniform administrator, Mrs Flavell, asked the Year 7&8’s if they would like a change to jackets or stick to sweatshirts. The seniors wanted jackets so they had two or three people come in and bring samples for the prefects. Next the prefects picked a particular style and we put our school logo on it and thats how the jackets were picked.

The design of the jacket is black and red with the school logo. Culottes are just plain black. Mrs Flavell says that the Year 7&8’s are getting bigger, more mature and deserve jackets.

Mrs Flavell Uniform Administrator, said. “We have the different option its just so that you can distinguish the senior children from everybody else.”
